05 — Team

The people behind every project.

Cornerstone is built by a small team with deep experience across development, finance, engineering, and design. Together, we make long-term commitments to the communities we serve.

Leadership

A focused team of builders.

We are small by design — close enough to know every project, deep enough to lead it from first sketch through decades of operation. What follows is the team that holds it together.

Leadership

Shawn S. Yun

Founder & Chief Executive Officer
EducationUSC School of Architecture
PreviouslyY International · Voda Corporation

Shawn founded Cornerstone with an architect's eye for design and an operator's discipline for delivery. He previously held executive roles at Y International and Voda Corporation, leading cross-border operations across construction, real estate, and development. At Cornerstone, he sets the company's strategic direction, leads the development pipeline, and oversees the Infrakit™ framework that ties every stage of a project together.

Leadership

Richard Lee

Chief Financial Officer
EducationKorea University Business School
PreviouslyJH Company

Richard leads Cornerstone's finance and capital strategy. He previously held finance roles at JH Company, and is a graduate of Korea University Business School. At Cornerstone, he oversees project financing, investor relations, and the company's balance sheet — ensuring the long-cycle nature of infrastructure development is matched by an equally long-horizon capital structure.

Development

Jungmin Choi

Head of International Development
EducationFudan University
FocusGreater China · Southeast Asia

Jungmin leads Cornerstone's international development pipeline, with a focus on Greater China and Southeast Asia. Educated at Fudan University in Shanghai, she brings regional fluency and a developer's instinct for opportunity. Her work begins long before construction does — identifying markets where infrastructure demand is structural, building the relationships that allow projects to take root, and shaping the deal structures that get them off the ground.

Engineering & Architecture

HS Song

Head of Engineering and Architecture
EducationUNSW School of Architecture
PreviouslySpace K&S · Yong Sun

HS leads Cornerstone's combined engineering and architecture practice. He previously held senior roles at Space K&S and Yong Sun, working across institutional, commercial, and infrastructure projects, and studied architecture at the University of New South Wales. At Cornerstone, he is responsible for how every asset is designed, engineered, and built — making the technical decisions that determine whether each asset stands up, performs efficiently, and serves the people who use it.

Design & Planning

Christina Kim

Head of Design & Planning
PreviouslyCtopos Design Group
FocusUrban Design · Landscape Architecture

Christina leads Cornerstone's design and planning function, bringing a city-scale perspective to projects that shape entire communities. She previously worked at Ctopos Design Group, a Seoul-based urban design and landscape architecture studio whose recent work includes the winning master plan for the Gukhoe-daero Linear Park competition. Her background informs how Cornerstone thinks about context — not just the asset itself, but how it sits within the city, the landscape, and the lives around it.

Oil Trading

JM Kyung

Head of Oil Trading
JK Petroleum, Chief Executive (Associate Company)
PreviouslyHLB Energy
FocusEnergy Commodities · Supply Chain

JM leads Cornerstone's oil trading division and concurrently serves as Chief Executive of JK Petroleum, Cornerstone's associate company for energy commodities and supply. He previously held a leadership role at HLB Energy. His work covers the sourcing, trading, and logistics of the fuels and energy products our projects depend on — keeping construction sites supplied and operating assets fuelled.
